• Unplug the refrigerator from the 120V outlet for 60 seconds, then plug it back in to reset the control board
• Verify the refrigerator is properly plugged into a functioning USA standard 120V/60Hz outlet
• Check that the home circuit breaker for the refrigerator is not tripped; reset if necessary
• Ensure both the freezer and fresh food doors are fully closed and sealing properly
• Verify the freezer temperature setting is not set to the extreme cold position
• Remove any items blocking airflow vents inside the freezer compartment
• Check that the fresh food compartment temperature setting is appropriate (typically 37-40°F)
• Inspect visible wiring connections at the back of the refrigerator for any obvious damage or looseness
• If equipped with an ice maker, verify the water supply line behind the refrigerator is connected and not kinked
• Allow 24 hours for the refrigerator to stabilize after a power reset before evaluating performance
