• Unplug the freezer from the electrical outlet for 60 seconds, then plug it back in to reset the control board and clear the error code
• Inspect the freezer door seal for cracks, tears, or poor sealing and ensure the door closes completely
• Remove any items blocking air vents inside the freezer compartment to ensure proper airflow
• Verify the freezer temperature setting is not set to its coldest position; try adjusting to the middle setting
• Check that the freezer has at least 2-3 inches of clearance on all sides for proper ventilation
• Ensure the defrost drain at the bottom rear of the freezer is not visibly blocked or frozen
• Allow the freezer to run for 30 minutes after reset and observe if the error code returns
• Monitor the freezer temperature with an independent thermometer to verify if it's actually cooling properly
• Do not attempt to access internal components, wiring, or the temperature sensor probe yourself
