• Inspect the door seal for gaps, cracks, or deterioration and ensure the door closes completely without resistance
• Verify the freezer is not packed too tightly, as items can block air vents inside the unit
• Check that the freezer has 2-3 inches of clearance on all sides and at least 4 inches at the top for proper ventilation
• Ensure the temperature setting is appropriate (typically 0°F or -18°C) and not set to the warmest setting
• Locate and clear any visible ice or frost blocking the air vents inside the freezer compartment
• Check that the defrost drain hole at the bottom back of the freezer is not blocked by ice or debris
• Allow the freezer to run for several hours after reset and monitor if the error code reappears
• Verify the freezer is installed on a level surface and not tilted, as this can affect drainage
