• Unplug the freezer from the electrical outlet for 60 seconds, then plug it back in to reset the control board
• Inspect the freezer door seal for cracks, damage, or poor contact and clean the seal thoroughly
• Check that all vents inside and around the freezer are not blocked by food items or ice
• Verify temperature setting is between 0°F and -10°F and not set to an extreme position
• Ensure the freezer has at least 2-3 inches of clearance on all sides for proper ventilation
• Check that the freezer is on a level surface and not tilted
• Remove any cardboard or packaging materials from the exterior vents
• Verify the room temperature where the freezer is located is between 50°F and 110°F
• Look for any visible loose wire connections or damage to the power cord (do not open the unit)
